Designed by recent Delft Masters of Industrial Design Engineering graduate Waikit Chung, this Mp3 boom box is irony in the making. This student project was no mistake, as its objective was really about teaching a designer to coping with the contradictions between modern life and that of Zen Buddhist Monks. It’s interesting how Waikit played with the idea of traditional water carrying devices, as an anchor to create some kind of relevance in these two vastly different worlds.
